The Sedona Story

1986

1986

   

TemPro Services opens Bettendorf with two full time Account Managers. The focus is initially on light industrial staffing.

1987

1987


The San Diego office opens specializing in tele-staffing services for call centers.

1988

1988

   

'Sedona' begins with a team of programmers, contracted into companies on-site.

1989

1989

   

Client list and internal staff continues to grow.

1990

1990

   

TemPro Services moves to a new building on Valley View Drive, Moline.

1991

1991

   

The recruitment of new expertise, starts a major push within the clerical staffing division.

1992

1992

   

A 'turnaround year' for TemPro Services. It is the start of an eight-year run of 30% + annual sales growth.

1993

1993

   

The Sedona Group sales surpass the $10m. goal with the team taking an incentive trip to San Diego, CA.

1994

1994

   

The Dubuque, IA office opens for a total of six offices in Iowa and Wisconsin. Sedona Information Systems is established to specialize in direct and contract hire to meet technical recruitment needs of QC businesses.

Sales, clients and internal staff members continue to increase steadily.

1996

1996

   

Group Sales exceed 30m. Sedona invests in off-site Pro-Engineering expertise and at the same time, Sedona Information Systems begins work on Y2K projects. The Central Business Office (CBO) opens providing administration & medical billing services for John Deere Health Centers.

1997

1997

   

The expansion of the business requires more space, leading the group to commence work on The Sedona Tower. Sedona implements Pro E, a design software/hardware program that uses a 3D CAD system to assist engineers and equipment designers at John Deere, CNH, and other equipment manufacturers.

The Sedona Tower is completed. TemPro Services rebrands as Sedona Staffing Services.

1999

1999

   

Sales exceed $80m. and the number of staff has grown to 80. Another nine Sedona Staffing offices open including Frankfort, IL; Madison, WI; Laguna Hills, CA; San Marcos, TX and Beaverton, OR.

2000

2000

   

The Sedona Group launches a new eSolutions business, investing in top technical talent from around the US. Sedona achieves ISO 9001 certification. The number of staff now exceeds 100. Sedona Technologies starts its web content management service (CMS).

Four new offices open, bringing the total to 36 offices nationwide! 110 corporate staff and branch partners celebrated in Cancun. Sedona Technologies begins a 3yr software implementation project for John Deere Ag Division: Ag BRE.

During a time when the staffing industry was downsizing, Sedona Staffing offices continue to grow.

2004

2004

   

Continuing the growth, Alsip, IL; Hutto, TX; Dyersville, IA; Monticello, IA, & Lawrence, KS, open their doors. Enterprise wide sales are up 31% and $100m. sales goal is reached. eSolutions rebrands as Sedona Technologies and begins offering outsourced engineering services. Sedona PerForma software product is released. Sedona Technologies becomes a certified partner for Microsoft and Kentico web content management.

Total sales reach $120m. A total of 26,000 people have worked for Sedona and weekly payrolling hours reached 193,000. Sedona is in the top 1% of the 9,000 staffing firms in the US according to Staffing Industry Analyst's report on America's top staffing companies.

The team of 200 celebrates 20 years of business in Cancun. Sedona Technologies becomes an Endeca certified partner and implements its first Endeca search application for a Fortune 500 company HON.

2007

Sedona Technologies starts offering Network Support to small and medium size businesses in the QC Area. Sedona Compass is licensed to the largest staffing provider to the British Government.

2008

A new, web-based software system - Sedona Compass - begins a roll out through Sedona Staffing to deliver improved efficiency, client reporting, and growth opportunities. The Portage, IN office opens. Sedona Technologies creates and hosts its 100th Kentico website.

2009

2009

   

A new partner joins Sedona Staffing and opens an office in Elk River, MN. Sedona Technologies' experienced talent pool handles a critical situation at Olympic Steel and serves on an advisory committee for the Tech/Engineering department at Western Illinois University.

2010

Sedona Staffing opens a new office in Greenfield, IN. Sedona Technologies creates and hosts its 225th Kentico website.

2011

2011

   

After 25 years in business, The Sedona Group has 7 internal employees with more than 20 years of service and 45 employees with more than 10 years service! Sedona Technologies Website division exceeds 250 web customers.

2012

2012

   

The Sedona Group celebrates its 25th anniversary with a company trip to Cancun.  Sedona Technologies Software division launches Sales Workflow in the Cloud along with PerForma Enterprise.

2013

2013

   

Sedona Staffing opens a Rock Falls office. Sedona Technologies Website division launches DealerCustomerPortal.com™.
Sedona Technologies Government Services division is formed.
